SwissBake® Swiss Bisquit – Vanilla Cake Mix is a complete mix for the preparation of the perfect soft, light and airy vanilla flavoured sponge base with high volume. This soft and light base is perfect for the preparation of with egg sponge cakes and swiss rolls.

SwissBake® Swiss Bisquit - Vanilla Cake Mix will give you the perfect sponge base for heavily laden cakes and its safe whipping capacity will leave no room for error. Ideal for using in layered cakes, its exceptional volume and soft moist texture will enhance the visual appeal of the end product. Its versatility lies in its use in a number of bakery applications like pastries, sponge cakes, Swiss rolls, to name a few.

Method

Place all the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Using a planetary mixer with the whisk attachment, mix at a high speed for 6 to 8 minutes to form an aerated sponge batter. Scale & pour the batter into a cake tin or baking tray as required. Bake at 200°C under a falling temperature to 180°C for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. For preparing Swiss rolls, bake at 200°C for 17 to 20 minutes.
